Alpine Guide, AGAI National Instructor, and Ski Instructor. At the age of 18, he descended freeriding the Canalone Marinelli on the east face of Mt Rosa. After a long list of solo adventures, he achieved an extraordinary speed challenge; he left his home town in Macugnaga and run across Via Bisaccia (difficulty 7° level) and passing by Via Bisaccia delle Guide reaching the top of Cima Jazzi and heading back to Macugnaga in 4 hours and 15 minutes accomplishing a high difference of 5000mt. A few years later on the same location, he crossed the entire summits of the Mt Rosa, heading back to Macugnaga paragliding back in 8 hours and 12 minutes. Beyond this, Fabio counts innumerable international experiences: 1993 he attempted the West of Makalù 1995 in Pakistan at Lila Peak and Patagonia 1997 he stands on the summit of Aconcagua leaving the base camp in 8 hours 1998 he placed 14th absolute on the Skyrunning World Championship 1999 he opened 3 new climbing ways in Greenland 2001 reaches the top of the Ama Dablam from Camp one in 7 hours and 30 minutes 2005 he gained the Skyrunning Italian Championship absolute for twos free technique 2005 Shisha Pagma 2007 Anapurna and Broad Peak Pakistan 2008 Nepal. Nowadays Fabio is an Alpine Guide and Ski Instructor in Macugnaga. He perfectly represents the figure of a new generation Guide. Nowadays he is also sharing his knowledge and passion with CRISPI® on the research and developing the program.
