Johanna Holzmann grew up in the winter sports village of Oberstdorf, Allgäu, Germany, and began skiing at the age of three. After training with the Cross Country and Alpine teams of the local ski club, she concentrated on Alpine skiing and was a part of the Regional Alpine team. In the 2010/2011 season, Johanna switched from Alpine to Telemark skis and competed in her first Telemark World Cup the same year. Since that Johanna is racing for the “DSV Telemark Team Germany” and also as a proud representative for “Crispi”. Johanna's greatest achievements are the several podium finishes on the Telemark World Cup and as the five-time Junior World Champion.
